they just can't afford to give up a couple of runs.

Yes, the series sets up nicely for the Tigers with Anibal, Max and JV starting in a best-of-three. But unless they can go 8 or 9 every game, Boston has a good shot to win two off our stinko bullpen.

Good job last night for JL Having the balls to modify the lineup. Something needed to be done. Also i vehemently opposed such a long contract for prince figuring we would be getting screwed the last four years of it, but it already looks like hes tailing off. His power numbers have been down since he came to det, he so far has been way overpaid for what hes doing and it will only get worse. He has helped miggys numbers get even better tho. Lets hope hes not already tailing off.
