Tigers need to clinch with wins. Can't count on Cleveland to even lose 1 game this week. They play two against the Chisox and miss Chris Sale's turn, then four against the Twins, whom they own.

Ah yes, Detroit has Miami this weekend. Miami, the worst team in baseball, therefore, NO PROBLEM.

what a joke. Nick goes 2 for 4 against a righty on sunday to bring his sept total up to 5 for 17 while matty a robust 0 for 13 with 8, yes 8 K's. he can't even put the ball in play, less get a hit. jhonny is going to be in LF starting Friday so why not give nick a shot?
