Another day another fail on d and fail clutch hitting. The pitcher is garbage but we can't score in him.

Hamels was never Verlander. But he's having the same sort of disappointing season. Bad, by his standards. But not really that awful. But he did give up a double to Santiago... His third hit as a righty, this YEAR!

Yeah hamels is ehhh. Hes so inconsistent ive always seen him as a two not a one.

Still blowing alot of chances. Leadoff double in 1st.....jimmy should of had dirks bunting vs a lefty. Get an early run with this sparce lineup. Gotta try and get guys to 3rd with less than 2 outs. Even tho we seem to always choke in that situation. But we have to scrap for runs without miggy, hunter, and infante.

Fister is dealing. Hasnt plunked anyone yet.

But still.....gotta stop leaving so many men on.

Matt cain having a bad year also.....seems like just yesterdat doc halladay was untouchable. He was the best in the Mlb for awhile. But hes been quiet lately. Pitchers have bad years. JV is having one, but yet is 10-8 with an ERA around 4. Tiger fans have been spoiled lately.

Times change. I can remember when Topps put interesting facts like: "Joe enjoys gopher hunting in his spare time." or "Larry "attended" Southwest North Dakota Technical School".

In a keeper league, I have Hamels, and Cain, andddddd Verlander. Getting a little less than I'd hoped out of all three. But adding Dunn off the wire has helped.

Raburn has always played his best ball in garbage time. No chance of post season = no pressure = Raburn plays well. Some things never change.

Ha ha ... they had Raburn bunting for two pitches with guys on 1st/2nd, and he took both for a 1-1 count. Then Francona said eff it, let him swing away.

Yep, Hamels walks Hernan Perez, then gives up back-to-back doubles to guys hitting in the .180s. Gotta be kicking himself. Feel like we stole a win with that lineup yesterday. I know the Phils had a couple of good hitters missing, too, but Doogie was lights-out.

I wonder if Cliff Lee actually has a stiff neck, or if he's on the move? Wouldn't make much sense to skip him just to avoid this current Tigers lineup. Either way, I'm disappointed. Was looking forward to Max getting the chance to matchup against another one of the best pitchers in baseball.
