Will be glad when friday gets here. The AS game isnt the same as when i was young. I think it was better than, because you got to finally see all the stars.....now days with the package and sports 24 hr stations and the net, we get to see these players daily.....miss the days of seeing lou and tram with winfield reggie ripken and others. Been a long time since i watched a whole AS game. In fact last year i remember listening to verlander getting rocked on the radio as my wife and I were going downtown to go eat out....unfortunately it was a peruvian fancy restaurant and they had one TV in there......it was on soccer...was a good meal tho....125 bucks....and it was free (wifey won it at work) ......so i missed the whole game. Imma try to watch tonight and stay interested.

Memories of past AS games.....i can always remember my favorite. Was in 6th grade...think it was 82 and was at my friends cottage up in silver lk. Remember going to his neighbors cottage because they had a lil blk and wht TV with an antenna.....for some reason i remember seeing dave conception and i think lance parrish got up and struck out. Was a big thing back then when your young and you see the baseball cards you have, and you finally get to see them play. Ahhhh memories. 80's baseball and basketball were the best!!!

Even I have to admit that was an impressive display. I wonder how adrian felt about it.

I remember waiting forever, and ever for our lone rep to finally get in, back in the day. A few times I don't think a Tiger even made an appearance. I hear you on the game losing its luster cleeves. Way back before inter league and FSDetroit and MLB net and Baseball tonight all I had were box scores, The George Michael Sports Machine, 11 o'clock news and George Kell and Al Kaline a couple nights a week. The AllStar game made all those WestCoast and NL guys real, once a summer. I still look forward to it every year though, good times...

05 my old man n I worked the HOF area of fanfest at Cobo. That was a good time. Got to meet a lot of OldTimers and spend some time with my dad. Got a couple cheesy orange polos out of the deal too. Abreau put on a show at the derby that year. Good times...

I have to admit I didn't see all of it. . I was looking for the reverse SAP button, or thought i was watching espn deportes as nobody spoke English.

My grandfather had the contract for the gardening around the Rose Bowl back in the late 50s or early 60s. Didn't find that out till about 10 years ago.

Hahahaha, I hadnt saw Pedro Gomes that happy since Barry Bonds got blackballed. Does Cespedes always rip liners like nobody's business?

Ahhhh, that definitely was an impressive BP performance from him last night. There were a couple that didn't even arc.

"BTW...if you want to p.o. the Ostrich Boys, go to the Detroit board....quote one of MY posts and reply to it. The Ostriches who have me on ignore, will still see it when you quote it in your post. hehehehe

PS...don't be nasty or anything. One of the 'O' Boys will report you in a heart beat. "

Muzzers buddy iffy posted this in the AL smack talk thread. I guess muzz and burf iggin iffy has called for iffy to try and rally some troops of other teams up. Since they cant see what iffy posts, he needs other people to quote him so muzz and burf will see what he said......very nice plan he has.....but one thing.......

WHY WOULD A SO CALLED TIGER FAN, WANT FANS OF OTHER TEAMS TO COME AND TROLL THE TIGERS BOARDS TO PISS OFF HIS FELLOW TIGER FANS????????? Just a thought....

cleaves do you teach your kids to run and tattle? You are a good roll model. Sad thing is....after I posted that....the thought crossed my mind that YOU would go and tattle. Do you feel better, now? And why is what I say SOOOOOO important to you?

If I remember right, we were in the running too the end. But we wouldn't have Hunter, and I'm pretty happy we do. Especially with him in the two hole. And I'm not gonna lie, I like quality baseball players, who hit, run, catch, have upbeat personalities.... And say Hot Tamale.

Man your a douche! I don't have kids, but when I do, I'll teach them to inform people when others are hell bent on doing nothing but bothering them. That or I'll tell em to piss on their shoes, one of the two. Grow the fuck up, old man. (Back to ignoring your lame ass, again)

Leave the old man alone.. for god sakes... He is harmless. How many old men have you met that don't complain like iffy. He is like an old tree in the park... old... leave him be and pay no mind to him... his comments can sometimes irk.. but his posts at least are thought out... don't like his opinion... so what.. that is why we are here.. to argue and agree...
