I've pretty much come to two reasons why the Pistons are suffering.. Coaching and Josh Smith.. Both need to step it up, because Jennings has been great.. And what is with the Jekyll and Hyde act? The last two games were awful then they look completely dominant so far today..

Jennings looks like he may have turned the corner now that he has played with the guys a little while. Still hasn't been consistent, but getting better. He's making fewer bone headed plays; unfortunately the same can not be said for Smith. Gotta give it up for Stuckey too, he's looking like a 6th man of the year candidate.

Still, the team looks fine against bad teams, but they gotta step it up against the rest. Should be able to take the Bulls and Lakers.

I love the bucs bigs, Henson, Sanders , udoh and giannis are all tall-lengthy-athletic and will be one hell of a defense when they are healthy and find some chemistry.

If Giannis develops.. He has grown like mad though.. One could be a trade piece if all pans out.

Good to see we're at .500 again, good enough for 4th in the east. We've got momentum on our side.

Now at .500 the Pistons have the fourth best record in the East, but still only the fifth seed since the 3 division leaders are guaranteed no lower than the 5 spot and the Atlantic is that weak that Boston holds the #4 spot at 9-12.

But it is great to see the Pistons at .500, on a four game win streak, and finally beating some decent teams (Heat and Bulls). Jennings is looking more comfortable with the team, now racking up some assists and points. Smith needs to step it up, but is a nice piece to fit in with all the bigs to give the Pistons a size advantage against almost anyone.

Tonight should be interesting at home going against a Heat team we just beat in their house. They'll come in looking for vengeance, but without Wade again (unlikely to play in back-to-back after long minutes last night) I like the Pistons odds.

Pistons transition defense has looked horrible. They are decent on D when they have time to set up, but if a teams get a fast break or even just get into a fast set the Pistons have been getting torched. They need to learn how to go from offense to defense better and not take time and look around and make sure everyone else is set before turning on the D.

On the other end no one is moving without the ball. It all dump it down low, screen and roll, or penetrate and hope something collapses to kick it out. What ever happened to screens away from the ball to free up some shooters? Does anyone remember how RIP made his money? I want to see a more dynamic offense! Move without the ball!

Huge win for the pistons at indy! They did everything right. If not for the meltdown against portland last night they would have gone back to back agains two of the best. The pistons are finally turning the corner to respectability again.

Either Monroe or Smith needs to be traded.. Sad but true.. This just won't work.. It's sad because Smith is just garbage at the 3 and I would rather keep Moose, but it is what it is..
