Just got up and checked on the score. SOG were pretty impressive and I can't comment on the game or penalties because I didn't see it.

Sabres had to kill off 7 PP's against the Pens one being a long 5 on3.
Oh well.

Congrats to the Sabres for the win and good game Bruins and their fans. Guy's relax it's only one game. All teams get boned on calls at one time or another.

Nothing against the Sabres or their fans, I just think the Refs ruined what was a great game. They called 3 very questionable calls against the bruins and let 2 obvious crosschecks in plain view by the Sabres go. JMO

The Sabres only went 2 for 7 on the PP while The Bruins went 0 for 3. Perhaps if they scored 1 time on the PP, they walk away with a win?

Also the game was tied 3-3 early in the 3rd period and no penalties were called for the remaining 16 minutes of the 3rd period. The Bruins had every chance to score a goal and win the game as well.

Then we get to the OT period where the Bruins had a chance to win as well but managed to get 0 shots on goal.

Shit happens sometimes, but the Bruins had just as much of a chance to win this game as the Sabres did, only the Sabres seemed to want it more IMO. They are playing desperate hockey right now.

I really hope these team face one another again in the PO's. Should be a great series.
