D-Jax has owned the NFC East his entire career. Now he gets a chance to own the Eagles, which he most certainly will.

Maybe you should check the stats.......he's been top 5 in the NFC east ONCE in his entire career - LAST year. His hype vs his ACTUAL PRODUCTION are two very different things, and you are proving that fact right now. Jackson is nothing special, and never has been.

Good article? Lol. This is just an attempt by a bitter Philly sportswriter trying to appease the bitter Philly fans and let them rationlize this situation. Funny how this article contains nothing but anonymous sources. Don't any Eagles have the balls to speak their minds?

Regardless - you can pretty much count on the fact that Jackson will be on his best behavior for at least the next few years. After that - who knows & the risk is minimal for the Redskins. Good for you guys - you get to feed the huge ego of your new coach. Congrats.

No way to sugarcoat this one...bad move for the Eagles. At worst they should've gotten a couple of picks for him.

Barring something really bad off the field, you don't just cut your #1 WR in his prime, absorbing a major cap hit in the process.

Players and HCs don't always fit, but somehow it got out that Kelly really wanted this guy gone and it ruined any trade chances.

Not great news for the Eagles, but it seems like they are willing to take their lumps in order to fix a problem. I think that is a good thing. We'll see how it works out with the Redskins. The dude has skills, but he also has a problems. People usually only change when they hit rock bottom. Jackson hasn't hit that yet.
