That's the guy. One interesting footnote. At 42, Spahn got locked into a 16 inning 0-0 duel with Juan Marichal and threw 201 pitches (wtf). Amazingly, Marichal, 25, threw 227. Spahn lost the game after giving up a walk off homer to Mays.​
