The Derski
No Fat Chicks
I'm not questioning Henry's talent. If anyone says anything about a Bama player all of you jump out of your mobile homes and throw a fit. I have a different opinion than you. Sorry.
Honestly, as far as kicking return stuff goes - you need to be Devin Hester like for me to notice.
Take away the 98 yard kickoff return for a td he only averages 26 yards per kickoff. If you kneel the ball you get it on the 25...Whats the average kick return in the pac. I think that 20 yards iis being generous. How many returns for TDs in the PAC. The stats don't lie. I know adore has a few. kick coverage is another weak point in the PAC
Henry's got such a good work ethic that if he failed at RB he could work his ass off and become an All-Pro LB. Saban thought about recruiting him as a Linebacker out of high school/In the NFL McCaffrey would be a slot receiver / returner, and a damn good one, Henry is going to be Trent Richardson, another player Saban gassed in college.
Sorry that must be moved to the Scenario thread. Why are we talking about McCaffery in the derrick henry thread anyways. Waste if time imo he's not on the same level. Maybe we can get a McCaffery thread. Where we can talk about padded stats and how many yards barry sanders would have had if he played in this years PAC
All time leading rushing in Florida high school football history, right?Henry's got such a good work ethic that if he failed at RB he could work his ass off and become an All-Pro LB. Saban thought about recruiting him as a Linebacker out of high school/
in this scenario sanders doubles biers numbersSorry that must be moved to the Scenario thread.

take the kickoff returns away and McCaffery doesn't come close to sanders. almost 1200 of those yards were off returns. I'm even less impressed with mcCaffery than i already wasHenry's got such a good work ethic that if he failed at RB he could work his ass off and become an All-Pro LB. I shrugged when I heard he was heading to NY, now its become an eye roll.take the kickoff returns away and McCaffery doesn't come close to sanders. almost 1200 of those yards were off returns. I'm even less impressed with mcCaffery than i already was
Its pretty sad when the kids who put it on the field are snubbed for a media story. Even sadder that people buy into the hype without doing their research and promote this behavior. When you've goy guys like mayfield, elliot, reynolds,etc.... sitting at home while a kick returner is headed to NY because its a better story its a bad day for college football I shrugged when they called him reggie bush 2.0 during the CCG. reggie faced top defenses and performed. But thats more media push anywaysI shrugged when I heard he was heading to NY, now its become an eye roll.
I watch a lot of high school football. This is like the small school that plays scrubs and has the little 5'5 white kid that weighs a 140 and a 5 flat 40 running for over a thousand yards on the season in 1A, and comparing it to the 6'2 200 pound running back that runs a 4.5 and ran for 980 yards against 5A opponents. Like yes you have more numbers, but really? Is it really comparable, really?take the kickoff returns away and McCaffery doesn't come close to sanders. almost 1200 of those yards were off returns. the closest comparison you can make is a common opponent or one thats close. IE the Northwesten /Wisky examples and statsI watch a lot of high school football. Facts are irrelevant were supposed to go off opinions and what ESPN tells us. I'm voting for adore Jackson he had more kickoff return yards interceptions and tackles than McCaffery. Also almost as many receiving yards and tds on way less attempts and he's a cb. Imagine what a RB like Henry or Elliot would have done in the PAC in that scenarioI think Henry deserves the Heisman and if he dont win it better be Deshaun Watson taking it home, Not Christian MCCaffrey.
Not to mention with a running team like Stanford facing off against all these defenses set up to stop the pass.Facts are irrelevant were supposed to go off opinions and what ESPN tells us.
