This team just can't catch a break with starting pitching. Holland fell in his home and tears a ligament in his knee and will be out half of next season.

cartilage, not ligaments
Better hope Harrison comes back strong and Tepesch holds up
Yeah this just sucks, just when you think the pitching is going to be healthy bam here we go again.
Let's hope. Would be nice if we're right .Pick up a win or two with Tep and Ogando til Derek gets back. Probably need Garza in case Harry misfires. Just saying. If it's a meniscus repair, and I think it is, that seems like a conservative estimate.

Did you miss Garza in there too? I don't believe he will be out that long.are you talking a win or 2 over the 15-16 starts he is projecting to miss?
I agree, as a rehab professional. Anything that Dutch contributes this year will be bonus but should not be planning on post-ASB return.Rangers have now said it was microfracture surgery.
I am no longer planning on Derek contributing this season. If he does, it will be very late in the season. Perhaps long relief if we make the playoffs. August would be about the earliest he could start throwing again, rehab and strengthening starts would put him into September. I'm snakebit on the injuries last year and how long they took to heal for Harry and Lewis so I'm not going to expect anything from Holland and if we do get something then it is a bonus.
