hmmm idk if I like this or not. He would be a good deep threat and red zone threat plus he is a big target for Alex Smith to throw to but I just don't know about this one. But Edwards will be back by next game.
If we did its a good thing were going into the bye week so it will give him extra time to learn the system. But with all the injuries lately at the WR position maybe it is not a bad idea.
Depth Chart would be
1-Edwards
2-Lloyd
3-Crabtree
4-Ginn
5-Swain
I'm sure Kyle williams would be above swain
I wonder if Edwards injury had a setback?
Not sure if Lloyd is really needed at the cost??? we're still a ground game 2 TE offense.....
Heck why not pick up Lloyd, I would even give up a 4th.
You never know when Crabtree's chronic foot is going to act up, or how Braylon's knee is going to be.
This would make us deep at WR.
Even in today's game, it was all Crabtree and Walker. We could use Lloyd even if it ends up being a 1 year rental for a playoff run.
