hmmm idk if I like this or not. He would be a good deep threat and red zone threat plus he is a big target for Alex Smith to throw to but I just don't know about this one. But Edwards will be back by next game.

If we did its a good thing were going into the bye week so it will give him extra time to learn the system. But with all the injuries lately at the WR position maybe it is not a bad idea.

2-Lloyd
3-Crabtree
4-Ginn
5-Swain

The only way I would really be happy about us doing this is if Edwards injury is worse then expected and he is going to be out longer then what they are anticipating or at least telling us.

Ginn isn't a WR. Just have him run a few flys to wind a DB through the game and then save him for ST.

90% chance we win the west, they would demand a 4th.

And he not expensive like Orton.

Not many teams that would look at him. SD would if one of their WR was hurt but Vincent Jackson is ok for now. HOU just got Mason.
Maybe Tennessee thinks they can win the South?

yep that's what I was thinking I don't see us making the trade unless that was what was going on.

You never know when Crabtree's chronic foot is going to act up, or how Braylon's knee is going to be.

This would make us deep at WR.

Even in today's game, it was all Crabtree and Walker. We could use Lloyd even if it ends up being a 1 year rental for a playoff run.

That's my feeling as well. He would have the bye week to learn that Offense and by the playoffs he could be a good asset to have.

If this team is going to be a competitor this year, I'm ok with this. nothing wrong with adding extra weapons for a nice push (if we can win now.)

For a team with no future I'd stay away from the aging guys, but if we have any type of window why not?
