Bill Belichick will be a guest on the "Late Show with David Letterman" next Wednesday.

The show airs at 11:35 p.m. ET on CBS, and Belichick will be on the same night as Academy Award winner Tom Hanks.

You pretty much extinguished my Colts,” Letterman said. “How do you feel about that?”
“Well, it was only a 38-point win,” Belichick said, smiling about the Patriots’ 45-7 AFC Championship Game win.

When the subject turned to running back LeGarrette Blount, Belichick got another dig in.
“He had a good game against your Colts,” Belichick said. “I’m sure you remember that, David — 160 yards, three touchdowns.”

One comment has pretty much shocked everyone..regarding the Colts possibly deflating the ball after Jackson's interception......"The answers will be known next month." Next month? The investigation was supposed to take 2-3 weeks, 3 weeks ago. Next month? No answers until March? What does Belichick know about the entire investigation and is the NFL trying to find a way to dig out?


That comment should have the media digging with "Gold Rush" sized excavators.

Must see tv = NFL-Films/version of the pats/Hawks SB,.......it's just an hour long but well worth it,....sound bites galore from both teams' players, sidelines , and coaches is priceless..!,......I think I've watched the whole SB three times now,......once = live,.....twice on NFL-ntwrk (3-hr. Version).
