16 team league. Have Seattle as my D in a 16 team league. Picked up the Eagles as the 'bye' back-up....never thought I'd use them other than the bye. HOWEVER... this week.... I'm thinking Birds D vs. Washington as opposed to Seattle D vs. Denver. Not usually one to change up on a D like Seattle vs. a questionable Eagles squad..... but the match-up has me thinking.

So give me your intellectual thoughts, not your..heart....' you crazy takin' the Eagles over Seattle thoughts'. Thks in advance.... Raid

I'm assuming the penalties for points allowed and yards allowed must be equally as massive as the points for defensive scores and such?

I'm still going with Seattle. Harvin can make up for a lot with one return TD. The ball will be in the air a lot, and I like the chances of Sherman, Chancellor, or Thomas snagging a couple. Eagles might give up less points and yards, but Seattle should score more if the peripherals

I don't particularly like either option this week. Though if you don't get docked for points I would roll with Seattle defense. Last night I had the Tampa defense in my one league. I still got 11 points out of them because I don't get negatives for points given up.

I still would go with Seattle at home, especially after the way they got burned last week. Gonna be interesting to see if Sherman is bored this week. ;)

But I agree with Shady, not in love with either option.

I would love to see DT on Sherman's side all game as he catches 10 for 150 and 2 scores :).

I have a somewhat similar scoring system as the OP, at least as it pertains to the positives a defense can get. The Bucs were negative 35, would've been negative 60 if not for the late gift from TJ Yates
