4 / 6 starting spots is just wrong no matter what team it is, and unlimited fan voting has just been a pet peeve of mine since SJ did something similar back in the 90's.

yeah,i think Sid will be back next week, so he may well have the opportunity to make a statement before the game. hell, even if he isn't voted on, which coach would not select him?

Isles fans should stuff the ballot boxes to make sure Dipietro makes the team. It would be possibly the only way the league would change things.

If the Rory Fitzpatrick thing and the Montreal auto-voting program didn't change anything, I don't think anything will at this point.

I am convinced that the NHL falsified votes to quash the Rory campaign.
in the last couple of days of voting, Lidstrom's vote total jumped by somewhere near 70,000 votes (after very slow steady accumulation throughout) to bump Rory from a starting spot. just ZAP, and the needed votes were there.
