Greinke pitched well but I am still waiting to see an 8-9 inning shut out from him. He has yet to pitch at least a full 8 innings this year. Hopefully that happens soon.

It was also nice to watch the lineup without Tomas playing. I am not really a fan of his. He is a poor fielder and extremely inconsistent hitter.

Hard to get excited about our Ace getting a win against the worst team in baseball, but at this point, I guess it qualifies. They need to sweep.

Good God if Shelby Miller can't put together a game against these guys...

Agreed. Could use a day off. Teams are still fearing him despite the rough start though. His OBP is legit.

I still don't get why Ahmed is still here. He's awful with the bat and he's been terrible with the glove. What is the point? They have other options.

The team should bench Ahmed without a doubt. He is so awful as a batter that I do not understand how he can play even if he is a good defender. I think they should play Drury at second and Segura at shortstop. This way Lamb and Drury will get consistent playing time. Then they should bring up O'Brien from the minors. He is batting .327 with 9 home runs and 23 rbi. The team needs a boost and he has monster power and could provide that.

The team needs a boost with pitching. While Ahmed has been a major problem, the bats have generally not been the issue. Segura has been awesome, Goldy's been effective, Castillo has been great, Peralta has been decent enough, Drury has been amazing, Lamb's been solid, etc.

O'Brien is a defensive liability, but if he can play SS, I'd be open to it.
