I said way earlier this season the Diamondbacks have no closer and need to trade for one. They keep losing games at the very end. It is pathetic. They have no internal options. It is not like you can expect David Hernandez to come in and save the day right now. The team absolutely has to trade for a proven closer. They could probably be above .500 right now if not for the terrible bullpen.

They lead the NL in blown saves. No way you accomplish anything doing that. The problem isn't going away anytime soon. Just have to hope the bats heat up even more so they never go into the 9th with the game close.

Agree. I just hope we get the good version of Jared. There is the other version that hits like Tuffy for 2 straight months.

Still better than Tuffy...he only has one version of himself: Sucking.

If it wasn't for our bullpen, we may have won two out of three in St. Louis. Thus team is trending in the right direction.

This team is honestly about two good starters and a strong closer away from competing for the division. Hopefully our Corbin and Bradley can fill those roles getting Hernandez back should help the later innings. If Blair or Shipley can get it together in a year or two, we could see the playoffs by 2017.
