And might be the worst in all of baseball. Horrible starting pitching. Probably the worst pitching staff in the MLB. They have turned into the Rockies except they have a worse offense.

Arroyo looks awful tonight. :L no offense, but glad we're on the receiving end of it!

I hated the Arroyo signing. KT is a joke. He spent tons of $$$ on scrubs like McCarthy, Ross and Arroyo and has no idea how the trade market works. He's the King of selling low and giving up on players way too early.

I think I'm going to root for us to finish with the worst record in baseball so he gets canned.

And the Trumbo deal was pretty bad as well

I wouldn't mind it as much if we were in the AL.... but we're not. His defense is horrible. Sure he hits a lot of bombs, but he also K's quite a bit and has a very low OBP. Skaggs and Eaton are both looking good on their new teams right now too. Ughh.

That career minor league line of .275/.327/.385 just *screams* hall of famer!

I didn't know Gregorius struck out that much? The Dbacks have lost two more games than the Tigers have played.

Turrible. Absolutely turrible. The Twins knew they didn't have pitching. That's why they paid Hughes to try to help. Arizona brought in Trumbo to strikeout.

to be fair, Corbin's injury hurt a lot and they brought in Arroyo (lol) but yeah, the pitching staff is TURRIBLE right now.

I honestly like Arroyo. Innings eaters need love too. He clearly wasn't enough. Maybe Cahill in the bullpen and my buddy JTs old teammate Collmenter in the rotation can slow the bleeding? (Im not crossing my fingers.). I hate to see Gibby go out like this. What with Leyland gone and all. (I would have had Ausmus at #2 behind Kirk if the opportunity arose.)

Arroyo has had an extremely respectable career, but it's winding down now and I really don't agree with the contract we gave him. If it was 2-3 years ago, maybe... but oh well. Gibby will be gone if this continues and hopefully KT follows suit. I could see Gibby as a good fit for DET.

Lol@ Campana

I enjoyed myself today, shitting on Campana from the bleachers is just too easy. Hope he's out there again tomorrow.

He's 100% grit. A born and bred Michigan boy. But the timing isn't right. And he and Tramm got fucked for Jimmy back in '05. Im still pulling for him to save his job, since my team doesn't have one to give him. Has Towers drafted a pitcher worth a got damn? (Save for Bradley who isn't helping things at the level that matters.)

Weren't you predicting them to make the playoffs in the predictions thread a few weeks back?

You seemed to be on board with Towers' moves back then if you thought they'd be a playoff team, and now you're saying he has no clue? Am I missing something here?

You're definitively missing something. Must be mixing me up with another AZ fan. Go check every thread I've started in the Dbacks forum, I've been critical of Towers the past 2 seasons.

So you predict them to win the WC while being critical of Towers' every move?

So what exactly were you expecting to propel the D'Backs from a .500 win team into the WC slot if it weren't for any of Towers' moves? Do they have some phenom prospects that'll make a big impact in 2014 or something?
