KFFL ALUM '05 - World Champions Soon Again
Solid. Hopefully he is the next Will Blackmon or Mason Foster at safety. He was a captain for the Super Bowl winning Broncos the last 3 years. 3 year, $9M is not bad. Broncos wanted him back. Low expectations but decent value with upside. 6'2, 217 lbs, 28 yrs
7 year vet of Broncos, home grown talent, only started 8 games tho.
"Broncos worked to keep Bruton, even matching the Redskins' offer. Came down to playing time."
Two real knocks, if you look at him as a starter.
- Never has been a starter, more special teams, role player, team captain
- He fracture/broke his fibula Dec 20, 2015, hopefully he comes back healthy.
Latest Updates on David Bruton's Injury
Defensive coordinator Wade Phillips also found a place in the defense for Bruton in 2015 as Bruton's 482 snaps on defense ** 43.8 percent of the defense's total ** were his most in any of the last seven seasons.
