They will probably still get beaten by the Dodgers

The Padres are making the NL West a lot tougher. The Dodgers have a more complete team today, and will likely make some moves this winter. I'm looking forward to seeing the outcome.

Dodgers have two RVs parked on Causeway St. The moving trucks will be there this afternoon. They expect to fleece the Red Sox again.

Those two teams will certainly be entertaining for sure

Dodgers a buzzsaw
Padres building a beast
Braves are awesome
Marlins on the rise
Phils and Nats talented enough to surprise

Mets fans still only worried about signing DJ Lemehiue because it will upset the Yankees

New owner, same mindset that has gotten them nowhere for 60 years

This is the kinda shit I love.

A non traditional(big market) team putting their nuts on the table and calling their fucking shot.

It might work. Odds are it won't(championship wise). It might even blow up in their face worse than getting Upton and Co that one year. But at least they see a window and are not playing around.

Just one fucking time I wanna see the Twins organization pull some shit like this. Instead, itll be any day now that we pick up our 2021 Ricky Nolasco type.

Fuck, the Padres are going all out to win....

Do you blame them?

But I don't think they will win the World Series this season..

Watch Darvish need Tommy John after one game....

I agree. I've been a Twins' fan since 1961 and enjoyed baseball a whole lot more when the Twins ownership was a bit more willing to spend a few bucks. A couple of years ago, that was Lance Lynn and he turned out to be a decent pitcher.........for someone else.

Remember when the Yankees would do stuff like that?

Good times.
Have the Yankees ever added this much payroll to their roster and still not be a top 10 team in payroll?
