This guy is starting to intrigue me. I was dead set against this guy but as I scouted him he makes a lot of sense for us and here is why. This guy can be the typical hybrid safety/lb player for us. His speed is amazing and would be able to stay with any TE or RB in this league. Plus he could move right into our defense as a nickel ILb. This guys is basically the same size as Will Compton but a hell of a lot faster and quicker.

Those who want to upgrade the ILB position like Ragland from Bama. But isn't Lee the better all around player? Ragland is a great run stopper but I don't think he could offer anything in the passing game. Most teams are in 3WR set now a days so would Lee see a lot more playing time and be a better pick than Ragland? As of right now there is no speed at ILB. I think this guy could be a huge upgrade plus it could force the release of Riley. With Riley's release it would save us 4m against the cap.

Thoughts?

After doing more research it looks like Ragland is the better all around player. Lee is just the better athlete. Lee is going to spark some teams interest with his combine performance.

Id be fine if we were able to land Ragland at 21. We need a stud run stopper in the middle. That's what this guy does. He is a tackling machine.

I agree Ragland is a stud and should be there when we pick. Maybe I got too excited after Lee's combine. Lee might not even be there at 21.

if the guy can tackle and tackle well i want him because that is our biggest issue on defense bar none

i think he can hold up in the passing game , he is young and athletic

IF that is the case he should be the favorite for pick #21. Also Kelly makes sense at #21 b/c he will be an immediate starter at Center.

this could be a great pick as well a starting 10 year center at 21 would be huge

Right, we wouldn't have to worry about a center for a long time. He might not be the BPA at that time but I would draft Kelly at #21.

We are going to get a good player at 21 that will help immediately as long as we go BPA. He may be a DL, ILB, C, S or even WR. Someone is going to slip to us. We don't need to force a pick by drafting for need first.
