I'm not implying it's a particularly serious injury or suggesting he'll be off the field for a while because I don't know, but it made me cringe a little when I read it.

There are all kinds of degrees of this condition.....and it can be pretty serious. I had a friend in high school have this diagnosis after a car wreck. He had all kinds of vision problems for a while.

As someone having experience in the ocular medical field, yeah it's not good. Not the worst medical injury, but not good. I'm actually surprised they gave him 2-3 weeks on the injury report. It's not like D Mac fractured his fibula, which even then requires more than 2-3 weeks.
