Was hoping they would go to their old Uni's with the spear on the helmet & just call them the Warriors. Washington Warriors
Can Bezo’s even be an owner. There isn’t some law out there with Amazon and the NFL being a huge conflict of interestHas Elon ever shown interest in owning a football team?
Bezos would be an absentee owner and wouldn’t be any good either.

It's official.
John Henry has put the Liverpool FC up for sale and.................................
placed a bid with BoA to purchase the Washington Commanders.
Henry is the owner of the Boston Red Sox and Liverpool.
His Fenway Group also owns the Pittsburgh Penguins.
Henry also owns one the world's largest Hedge Funds.
His estimated worth is somewhere around $50B.
Good news or bad? He's put about $1B into Fenway Park and has nearly sold out every game even though the team sucks. Will he build a new stadium? Probably not because the cost at this time will far outweigh the dollar return. UNLESS, the NFL and Uncle Sam kick in about 2/3 of the cost and get him a big tax break. More than likely he'll buy it through the Fenway Group which will pull more $5B investors into the group.
Sorry Commanders fans, one of your part owners will be LeBron James who along with his buddy Maverick who coughed up $5B last spring to get into the Fenway Group.

Fenway is one of the last of the old classic baseball park, not too big, outdoors, natural turf and you can ride there cheap on the subway. Contrast that to the Patriots’ stadium, where you can’t even get out of the parking lot for three hours. They will have to build a new stadium in Boston at some point.
And the short term tax play to make Fenway a historical landmark will make it harder for them to find a place to do it

"The Red Sox have finished 10 years of improvements to Fenway Park, spending $285 million to renovate, improve and in some areas rebuild the old ballpark. But it’s over 100 years old and it won’t last forever
their argument was the word Redskin was demeaning, not that they were representing Native AmericansBetter idea than this
Although I’m sure some would’ve said that’s not enough since native Americans were also warrriors
