Well, that deal fell through. I've seen several different things. One was the Cubs called the deal off at the last minute because of something in a medical report. This would make sense because of Haren throwing the 2nd most innings in MLB since 2005 and his bad back. The other rumor I saw was that Marmol never gave his written consent to waive his no trade clause. This isn't likely considering Marmol tweeted that he did waive it and he was being traded.
