I said that on here right after they signed him. I figured then and kidded that Lafemina was sending out his resume. While you are trying to change your reputation and improve how people view you that was a PR move. It remains to be seen if it was a good football move.

The Foster signing isn’t the reason fans are abandoning this team. It’s because they suck. Winning cures all ills. The problem is that the fan base Has come to the conclusion that after 20 years, they will always suck. Kinda reminds me of when Angelos took over the Orioles. They were once thought of as a model franchise that consistently produced competitive teams and had a loyal following. But Angelos, much like Snyder, had no clue but thought he did. 30 years later, the only race they consistently compete in is for cellar dweller. In 10 years, I have no reason to believe that a Snyder owned team will ever be any better than what they are today. They are a poorly run franchise that is usually out of the race by game 12. As Sportster posted earlier, the fans have become apathetic. You just can’t continue to invest emotional capital and not get any benefits back.

Agree, the fans were leaving way before the Foster signing. I think that was the last straw for Lafemina.
