Sorry coach I didn't mean to come off as being mean and didn't mean you guys don't know anything that don't live here but in some ways you do not because you don't see the fan base on an every day basis. The reason the stadium is empty is apathy. No one cares. Ask the guys that live here or did live here. This town was all Redskins all the time just like NY is all Yankees all the time. That has changed. You only see a handful of Redskin fans anymore. I am equal distance between DC and Baltimore, a little closer to DC and you see lots of Ravens jerseys and jerseys of all types. I go to a local sports bar for a lot of games and there are almost as many Pittsburgh fans as Redskin fans.

Lafemina leaving effects nothing football wise, the stuff that happens on the field. What it shows is Dan has no commitment to anything. It is business as usual. I know you like Allen. Hell I was excited when he was hired. I thought back to the days when his Dad was coach. But he is HATED in this town. Just like Vinny was. People know we can't get rid of Dan but we sure wouldn't mind Allen being gone. At the same time we have no faith in who Dan would hire. He has undermined everything that might have worked. Jay at .500 looks pretty good to him. Dan wants to win but he wants to win his way.

I expect Manusky or someone's head might roll but if there are any changes those are the only ones I expect and apathy will continue.

I also understand the media. I have been a Caps fan since year one. I have listened to the radio guys tear them up when they went out in round 1 or 2 again. Completely different now, they are behind the team. But we all know that is only as long as things are going well. The funny thing was the city last year for the Caps was like it used to be for the Redskins. Dan should take a clue from that instead of bringing out three trophies he did not win from almost 30 years ago. A lot of people on here weren't around or were very young when that happened.

I find it odd that everybody hates Snyder. He gets involved and you scream that he needs to stay away, He doesn't do anything and you scream that he needs to be more involved.

First, he's going nowhere. He's a member of the club and heowns the team. Not one person is with the team that was with it when he bought it 20 years ago. He brought in coach after coach and GM after GM trying to find a combo that can and will work together. Ego and wanting more authority and power than the other guy is killer.

Snyder needs to fire everyone and bring in Bill Parcells. One guy who will and CAN do it all. He'll just need someone to push the wheelchair and make sure the oxygen tank is filled every Sunday.
