Maybe not, but he has shown a lot of interest, and we're in need of an elite DE.
Not saying Bama can get any recruit they want, we miss on plenty of guys, but with our success and Nick Saban recruiting, if a recruit has interest in us and he plays a position that we really need, I'll always say we got a good shot.
Korren Kirven is looking real good in practice btw...

Korren Kirven has the body type to play a 3-4 DE and made the wise decision to try to play in a defense that matched his body type/skills. Losing Kirven didn't hurt my feelings a bit because I never thought he matched our 1-gap 4-3 even at DT.
With that said Hand is about on the opposite side of this spectrum. Perfect for a 1-gap 4-3 and not so perfect for a 3-4. Unless he dramatically changes his body in the next year he may be actually borderline linebacker size at Alabama.
And BTW....even after his in-person powwow with Saban on his visit...he still claimed Bud Foster as his favorite coach.
