Playing Golden State up 24 in the 4th quarter and lose by 8. 45-13 in the 4th. Heart breaking.

The face Palm is because the Sixers lost the game in the 3qt. They did not have a 24 pt lead in the 4th.

They had to have. They lost by 8 and got outscored by 32 in the 4th. Thay means they had to be up 24 going into the 4th

I was at the game and it was unexplainable what happen in that 3rd. They just stopped playing in the 3rd.

Clear example of a very young team losing control of the game.

As Simmons and Embiid get more comfortable with leadership roles, they will take charge in situations like the 3rd.

Simmons had a really really good game. But he barely touched the ball in the 3rd. Embiid kinda lost his cool and stopped playing the way he should. Everyone stopped hitting their outside shots at once so the smart thing should be to get your two best players to do what they do best, get points in the paint.

That probably won't be the last time that happens.

As I posted on the main thread, I think that sometimes the hardest thing for a young team is playing with a big lead. They tend to take their foot off the gas and don't know how to get going again when a team makes a run at them.

In the end, they'll likely learn from this and be better for it. But expect a few more of these as they continue to develop and learn. Just part of the growth of a young team.

Did not watch it, but I believe the Sixers were up 99-89 end of 3rd quarter? Tough loss regardless.

Yeah, they're still a very good team but things like this will still happen. The thing is for them to learn from this and come out better next game.

Warriors gonna Warriors tho.

If you're a sixers fan, you shouldn't look too bad upon this loss. The Warriors have blown huge leads this year in so many games. Hell yesterday they blew a 28 point lead to the Nets and barely hung on for the win. They blew a 20+ lead I think against the Rockets on opening day. They blew a 17 point lead I think against the Pistons at home.

The Sixers will learn from this. They're too good not to. The Warriors just went super-nova and there's no stopping them when they do. The Warriors also turned it up defensively.
