Dalton has been very average I will agree but I'm not sure how many QBs in this league I take over him.

Brady
Luck
Big Ben
Manning
Manning
RGIII
Stafford
Rodgers
Cutler
Bree's
Ryan
Newton
Wilson

Those guys for sure. These guys are maybe:

Tannehill
Schaub
Flacco
Rivers
Romo
Bradford
Kaepernick

So 13 for sure ahead of him and another 7 maybes for me. So to me he would rank some where between the 14th best to the 21st best QB in the league. Very slightly above average to slightly below average.

I am not real sure I would take Newton over Dalton. Newton has fallin off the face of the earth since his rookie season.

I would probably take every single one of the guys on your 'maybe' list. I'm not sure guys like Nick Foles, Christian Ponder, or Jake Locker don't have more of an upside than Dandy. Josh Freeman would be a tossup.

When you sit and look at it, I would have no problem being convinced Dalton is in the bottom 7 or so qbs in the league.

You are being ridiculous now. Foles, Locker, Ponder, please.

As far as Newton, you listen to the media to much. His stats prove this year, as did his team. His running was down some but he was still pretty good this year, put him on the Bengals they win this division and beat Houston.

Foles played fairly well this year for being a rookie and on a bad team. He had 2 bad games, and aside from that put up numbers on par with, or better than Dalton's. Statistically, Ponder was right there too.

But taking a sack is less costly than an INT by trying to force soemthing without feeling confident in your throw.

Those are all worth mentioning indeed, but like I said, this is not of my opinion, this is and will be the opinion of our head coach and owner.

Throw it away.

They aren't just "worth mentioning", they're pertinent. The stats you posted put him right at average. You include the other pertinent stats that you left out and he's below average.

If I'm playing a really bad team with a really bad pass defense, I'd take maybe 15 QB's before him.

If I'm playing a good team with a good pass defense, I'd take maybe 30 QB's before him.

Just guesstimating.

That's cool. Whatever you would like to do is fine with me man.

Dalton is Alex smith. Dalton is Mark Sanchez. Hell, at best.

Dalton's future involves holding a clipboard if he's lucky.

He'll be our QB the next 2 seasons, though. Can I get a Who Dey?!?

Alex Smith is probably much better. Think about it, he doesn't have AJ Green to chuck up junk balls to.

Not sure we have enough garbage at my house. we recycle a lot of stuff. can't recycle used cat litter though. well, you could use it to absorb oil spills and unused paint, but only if you like dealing with cat waste.
