I dont know if anyone watched it but they actually had a war room simulation on their the other day. I dont know how it worked or who was drafting for the other teams . It began halfway through the show. It was kind of neat but how we ended up with these players is amazing.

First of all we traded down and picked up an extra second round pick I think. Anyway, we got 1. Jernigan 2. Crichton 2b. Lawrence 3. Latimer . So 3 first roundish Dlinemen fell to us in those spots. They were suppose to continue it at some later time. I know mocks are mocks and you shouldnt put stock into but it did kind of show how a draft works and possible trade scenarios.

It doesnt start to halfway through the show. They get offered a trade by Cincinatti to swap firsts and they would give us their second. They turned it down at first so the Bengals took it away. Then they decided they wanted it so they fixed it where it would have happened.

I thought they took Latimer 3rd. They said he will be gone in the top 40 so it was unrealistic. They took Billy Turner


So Jernigan, Crichton, Lawrence, and Turner. That is pretty far fetched I would think

Love those first 3 picks. Like in all these threads lately though, if you pick players that aren't likely to be there it makes your picks look better, but is it realistic? That's why I hate mocks. I prefer to just see rankings of players

Here is my thing- there is about 5 players we know we arent gonna get. Give or take 1 or 2. Isnt the move here to trade down unless maybe Donald is still there?

In Micky's defense he is a glass half full kind of guy. And to be real honest how many of us tell the Boss how we would run the show ? ............. Its pretty easy to sit out here behind the keyboard and blow our own brand of sunshine and roses off the keyboard with absolutely no consequence other than a fellow poster saying your opinion is BS. I go to the Cowboys official website for information not raw objectivity. JMHO

It wasnt even done by Mickey. It was Cahill, Broaduss, Hellman, and some other guy that seemed to be the smartest guy in the room.
