Wow. What a game. This is the best game that I have ever seen Romo play. I sure hope he gets this out of his system before next sunday or it will be a long day for us. And before anyone says that Dallas' defense sucks, Peyton Manning has done this to every defense this year. I think Haslett must have just tried to climb under a rock to hide until after next week.

Well, I posted too soon. Tony did it again. I almost feel sorry for the guy, he just folds when its on the line. He had a great game and he will be crucified in the press tomorrow.

Doesn't matter that's what he do. Tony Romo throws picks.

The last two drives show the difference between Manning and Tony Romo: Manning throws the ball and it doesn't get intercepted, Romo throws the ball and it's picked off.

That's the beauty of Romo j_y, he folds when it counts. He plays great and then the game is on the line and he drops an extra point while holding or throws a pick when his team needs a big drive. He has great skills but time after time.

Romo is very talented but he always seems to Munson himself and the team at the worst times. I think you guys are in for a long day though. Unless, he Munsons again...

He's the same guy, leading the same team, with the same players, that we swept last year. The only thing that has changed is the size of his contract & the health of our quarterback.

If the doctors, coaches & quarterback are to be believed & Griffin is healthy to play, then we should have nothing to worry about, right ?

Hopefully this loss sticks with Romo going into next week. Hopefully it stays fresh in his mind and the tears blind him and we pick him off several times.

Granted Im a bit biased here. But I saw to teams with tragically bad defenses putting up alot of points. The game came don to which offense would make the fatal mistake. Turns out it was Dallas. I dont expect Dallas to drop 40 points on us. IM also thinking Kyle Shanahan has got to be giddy looking at film of that defense right now. Its going to come down to our defense actually playing, because right now it looks like neither of these teams can stop any one.

True but you could say that about the defenses of the majority of NFL teams right now. Unfortunately - when the Skins play the Broncos it could be a different story since several of their defensive stars will return by that game.

As for the Boys game - it all depends. If we see the RG3 from the first 4 games I think they are doomed. He has to show more of that explosion & elusiveness from last season. Hopefully - the bye provided him with an opportunity to improve to that pt. Also - they will need to balance it with a rushing game since they don't have the weapons similar to either Denver or Dallas.

Hopefully you are correct about the amt of pts for Dallas. Having Jenkins and Jackson back should help as well as recent learning experiences for some of the younger players - we will see. If nothing else - forcing a few turnovers from the Boys (like the Skins did in both games last year) should help their chances. Can't wait to watch this game.

Agree 100%. They may have the most proficient offense we have faced yet. We all know the status of our so called defense. And our offense is not operating anywhere near it did last year in either of the Dallas games. Honestly, I see them beating us fairly soundly, something like 42-28. I hope I am wrong and you guys can rub this in my face Sunday night. I will gladly eat crow over this prediction.

Guess I'm the eternal optimist. How can i not be as a die hard fan of this team for the last 20+ years? This is a DIVISION match with the boys. All bets are off in my mind. Do I think they have a better offense right now? Yes. I even think their defense edges us slightly. But, I still think we have a good shot at a win.

I find it hard to believe we will be blown out by them. That has not been the history for these games. Could we lose? Sure. The only way I see a blowout, is if Griff regresses dramatically, we don't run the ball at all and we get absolutely zero pressure on Romo. I just can't see that happening.

Call me a dreamer...Hail

I don't think the Cowboys game is going to be an easy win by any means, but I have followed enough of the NFL over the years to know that what a team does against one team has little to do with what it will do in an inter-divisional battle.

The redskins run a different offense than the Broncos do. For starters, the Broncos don't have an rb as talented as Alfred Morris. The reason Moreno got all those yards is b/c the cowboys defense dropped into coverage to prevent big plays from Peyton.

The redskins have almost the opposite offense, in fact. Use the run to set up play action. When the defense puts eight in the box, that's when RG3 will have to hit some big gains. Of course, it would be nice if he spent the last two weeks rounding into form, including gaining some more of his speed and elusiveness....

On defense, it's another story. I honestly think the thing to do to stop the cowboys is to double bryant, single up on Witten with a cb (not Fletcher), and make Choko throw it to the rookie and the white wr to beat them. Pressure Choko with four (hopefully), and especially since the redskins should get Jackson, Jenkins, and Brandon Jenkins back from injury, they should have enough pass rushers to make him uncomfortable.

Some very astute points. I'm not sure what the best way to align the secondary is. We all know that is a HUGE weakness for us. I am just hoping our front 7 can provide enough pressure to help it out and keep Romo off balance. We have to win the turnover battle as well. If we can get 2 turnovers, it will be HUGE and hide our defensive woes alot.

I think we will look much more like the Redskins of last season this week than we will look like the Redskins of this.

Based on what? I've very little so far this year that is reminiscent of last's years team that rallied to get into the playoffs. Now if RG3 returns to form this week, all bets are off but I have no reason to believe that he is there yet. The only real positives I've seen this year is Kerrigan and Coefield on D and Garcon, Morris and the rookie Reed on offense.
