this is an interesting one... Molsan was all done and Harold had 3 players going...

only down 6... personally, i would probably just give the win to Harold... as this is a free league... and he clearly would have won....

if the game is played at some point i say add the players that were locked in to the result we have now
if it isnt i certainly feel Harold would have been Champ anyhow 10 points from Allen/Knox/Bass seriously...

i do hope the game is played so many diff ways the standings can go..

If this was a money league. And I was the commish I would do a league wide vote. So the whole league helps in making the decision. This is too big of a decision for a commish to make with money on the line.

But this is a free league I’d be ok if the league wants to vote. Don’t think we need to. I guess the commish can make any decision and we would be ok with it. As long as it is reasonable

I hate option 1, with going all in, trading away future draft capitol and being on the cusp of finally winning the championship, only to lose because the MNF game didn't finish due to a singular freak tragedy that halted the game would just suck so bad.

Even in a free league yes, it would be a terrible end.
But imagine with some dough on the line? Both ways too (kind of). I wouldn’t want to win because a player nearly died on the field. Not quite the same when your RB breaks his ankle.

If this was IDP and Hamlin was the only player left in the fantasy matchup? Tough luck.


I say all that (as we all do) not in comparison from such a tragedy and with full respect of the complete big picture-irrelevance of fantasy. But in this fantasy, here lies reality.

Maybe the leader in the championship gets half/two-thirds the pot, and they play next week for the other half/third? Glad I’m not a commish.
