I still don't see the love for Kamara, especially after where he was drafted.
drafted by current regime, AP is old and doesn't play on pass downs (the saints pass a lot), and apparently the current regime hates Mark Ingram or they are flirting with a few teams regarding moving Ingram.
That ^^^ and this is dynasty - it ain't just about this season.
I saw multiple sources that had him as the 4th-best RB with versatile 3-down comparisons to Jamaal Charles.

And this coming from the guy who drafted Perine in a very crowded Redskins backfield?!?!?

Yea, but Kamara has a very limited sample size for those comparisons to be made.. Just seemed like a guy who rode a few big plays and not much else to credibility.

And the Skins backfield might have a lot of bodies, but it ain't crowded at the top any longer. . They have a new Alf

IMO Perine is the quickest to a starter job after Fournette. That is why I took him, I have a need for starting RBs right now. If not I would have gone a different way.

What I was saying about Kamara is I don't see the talent that others are seeing. But with my past history gauging RBs, I should probably just keep my mouth shut.

Perine probably will start early in the year but I think Mixon, Cook, and McCaffrey are guaranteed to start week 1 and hold their jobs all year.

To be honest, I base my opinions on various scouting sites vs where they landed.
I know nothing about these kids.
I'm just throwing darts.

I actually like Kamara's landing spot and have him ranked just after the big 4 RBs. AP has a year or 2 left and Ingram is clearly not a favorite of the coaching staff. Kamara should be a Sproles type player by the end of this year, and has a chance to be an every down RB by the end of next. He has more long term PPR upside than Fournette, even though the path to immediate PT is murky.

Also, keep in mind Kamara was an elite prospect coming out of high school, but sat behind 2 pros his first 2 years at Bama.

For most positions I would say that lack of a high volume role in college is a huge negative. For an RB, I think is actually a plus. Not a lot of wear on the tires.

Theres also less evidence hes actually good though.

Not hating on the pick, I like it but I dont know what to think of him. Actually like the situation though. He moved up my rankings after the draft.

Very true.

I am not planning to start him this year. Hopefully won't ever need to.

Well, he redshirted his only year, 2013, at Bama..(Kenyon Drake, D. Henry, TJ Yeldin), 2014, JUCO..transferred to Tenn where he shared the field with Jalen Hurd, who's such a great RB that he's transferring to Baylor to play WR..
