His Moms & Grandmoms will miss the biggest game of his life, as they are both in prison for cocaine distribution. Moms is serving 20 years, while GMoms is serving a life sentence. Way to go, Ladies.

The most screwed up part by far is the fact that someone would have to spend their entire life in prison for helping someone get high.

To trump that, that same person(s) spent their entire life in prison when others depended on them. :noidea:

Where have you been for the past several years? This shit was old news when he was drafted.

Also, leave it to a raider fan to know a little something about incarceration.

I think it's more screwed up that a person with kids depending on them would risk going to jail in the first place. Regardless of what you feel about the morality of drug use, selling drugs when the consequences of being caught could mean life in prison when you've got children counting on you is incredibly selfish.

I completely agree with this of course...I simply don't consider people getting high as the worst of the worst human indignities, certainly not worthy of a life sentence. In fact, I don't consider much of anything a crime as long as you aren't hurting someone else.
I also understand the cycle of poor, many americans wont understand the simple desperation some people feel to move beyond their circumstances. Its a different mentality, one that has trouble perceiving how things could actually be worse.
My ex's father died in prison for stealing food to feed his family, I suspect the goal is largely the same. When judging others, there is always a great opportunity to miss out on the little details that bring them to where they are in their life.

Let's see, arrested in '99, sentenced to 20 years. Yep, math says she will be in jail for quite awhile. DT has even said that his mom will not be able to watch him play live for several years. You sure do look stupid running your mouth instead of using your head. Unless you are actually dumb enough to believe the prison would release his mom for, the SB this is old news.

Normally you raider fans are done talking shit this time of year. You must be a special kind of stupid.

It's team envy. Oakland fans don't have one so some lash out at other teams. It's a rather sad condition, really. Such fans should be pitied.....

Maybe they all shared a cell together.

Honestly, OP, this is old news to us. Instead of focussing on the negative aspect of the story (which may be a challenge for you considering this is probably all you have to think about while killing time in your cell block) why not focus on what a great story DT is for escaping the life his mother and Grand mother lived and went on to college and great things in the NFL. it's a story the press should highlight because it can serve as inspiration to others who may feel there is no hope.

Actually, fucktards, it was more a comment on the trash that tried (or didn't try) to raise him. I'm not slamming him at all nor trying to bring smack to his name. Stay classy... :laugh3:

Edit: Mod, move this to the main NFL board if it's causing vaginal displeasure here. Thanks.

Still a stupid thread. You could cite any number of terrible parents with kids that made it out alright. His mom is in jail, we all knew this, I think a parent in jail instead of raising their kid, by default, is a terrible person.

We could move this thread to the general board and label it "Shit everyone already knows"

You call us "fucktards" and tell us to "stay classy" all in the same paragraph. Cognitive dissonance.

If the purpose of this thread is what you say it is here, you did a piss poor job communicating your point.

Umm, since we can use our brains, we were able to extrapolate the possibility that they would not see him in the Superbowl, if the Broncos ever got to one, the first time we heard this story years ago.

They won't see any of his games while locked up, so it's not that hard to figure out.

:L
