That's funny. We have opposite thoughts about Goldsmith. Simms is OK and blow is OK too imo
I appreciate the emotion Goldsmith injects in his calls. I've heard play by play guys for other teams and it's like they're calling the PGA. It also feels like he's invested in the game as opposed to Simms who is busy talking about the time a guy ate a sandwich 15 years ago and flubs the call of what's going on in front of him.

Blowers brings real insight having played for so long, and he'll always have a spot in history for that Matt Tuiasosopo HR call in Toronto.

Elbow discomfort for Paxton. I’m basically operating under the assumption he’s thrown his last pitch this year and will be pleasantly surprised otherwise

I can only imagine what a few professional hitters added to the lineup could have done???

I still like the White contract, but man he scares me more today than he did even last year. Stop trying to hit the ball out of MetroPC Ballpark!!!!

Good news is we are only 2.5 back....of the first pick. I am all in on this reimagine. If you aren't going to sign real players to even attempt to contend, then go all in on the tank. Some stud arms waiting to be drafted this year reminding me of the Strasburg draft...of course we all know how that ended for us.

Well we gotta keep the longest playoff drought in professional sports US history (NFL, MLB, NBA, NHL) going! WOOT! Seattle has truly built something special! They knew they could never win a World series, but they knew they could still somehow find a way to get recognition....

I MEAN THAT... is progress.

I mean we beat out the Browns! IMO Seattle is basically the Yankees at this point but vastly superior. What we've accomplished is by far the greatest achievement in sports history!

I want to be wrong but I am rapidly losing faith in White. If he doesn’t shorten his swing I don’t see how he survives. Every swing is him trying to hit a ball out of T-Mobile. Plus that AB where he swung at a 3-0 pitch out of the zone and ended up striking out was just dreadful. This will be a guy that likely needs to be sent down at some point. However to your point they signed no one to help the offense, go cheap and you likely get cheap results

So sad they we won’t end up with Kumar or Leiter and one of them will go to Texas. So Mariners

Yea I pretty much watch Haniger and France bat then turn it off.
I mean you aren’t exaggerating. When you factor in the uselessness of April Seagar those are the only two bats they have. The others are still projects or useless placeholders. I can stomach it now but if it’s still like this in a couple of months it’s a problem. However I fully expected a slow start that gets better later so I’ll try and be patient early

I was driving yesterday morning to work and thought, I should post what the +/- should be for JP pitching today... I was going to say what's the over/under of 5 innings for JP...

Sadly, enough... All of us are not surprised that he hurt himself in the 2nd inning...
