Why would you have thought they would cut Escobar? I don't think he was outside the first 40 they put on the rosterI thought Escobar might get cut and they keep Traylor.

I'm not sure what the defense will be but I know we need to be better in the secondary and pass rush and we seemingly didn't accomplish too much at either spot. Disappointing. Agree on Wilcox. WTF does this team watch on tape with he and Heath? It's crazy. WeneedLawrence back and Crawford to be the guy we paid before seeing much out of. Then in the secondary we need Jones to step forward, Scandrick to be healthy and someone else to step forward and be playable...oh, but good news is we kept 7 RBsThis defense is going to be bad I MO. They made no improvements to it. As bad as Wilcox played against second and third stringers in preseason, I am at a loss for words on why he is still here.

correct....arm chair QB's on every street cornerThe coaching staff doesn't think so.
He
He doesn't fit our team. He will not be here next yr likely. We are a run first team. He is not a blocker. He will probably be a Pro Bowler with the Pats or some team with a similar offense. It's not that he isn't good, he just doesn't fit our team. He is coming off a tough injury and supposedly looks slower and hasn't regained everything yet. As of now we still have Traylor on PS though so it worked out. 10-15 catches , 1-2 TDs.
lol, if he looks slower then he wont be remotely close to a pro bowl player. He

Arlington please change your avatar I get scared every time I see herlol, if he looks slower then he wont be remotely close to a pro bowl player.
I think he will be fine. He will never be a star, but as a second TE in the Offense I think he is serviceable. Forget where he was drafted, he won't live up to that. But if he grabs 3 or 4 TDs and a few key first downs that will be good for us.He is still coming off an injury. I just know the guy can't block. He is a TE that you play in the slot.
He's a long way from being a NFL QB but I did not see this coming.Showers waived
Showers waived
No idea what's going on with Romo, if he's out 8/10 week's he should be ir'd, maybe he's closer to playing than the talking heads think.
No doubt STs is a big part of it. He is decent on STs but not some kind of phenom. It's really having both that bothers me. One or the other I could live with. Both just makes you go why!!! We throw them out there and watch the same shitty play over and over and keep throwing them out there. I like our coaches, but sometimes you wonder if they are just too stubborn to change or too scared to try new players. If they didn't see the field on defense and only played STs I wouldn't care if we kept themMaybe the reason players like Heath stay on the team, is if there isn't a good replacement at safety might as well keep the Special team player. Heath is a hustler. Just sucks at safety.
that is just my guess why we haven't upgraded the position yet.
Surprised to see Olataye and Okoye. I would have kept both.
Gathers was an obvious cut the second he was drafted. I hope that one didn't surprise anyone. He had PS written all over him from day one if he showed any football ability.
Kind of glad to see Russell cut. Was given a ton of chances this preseason and did nothing. Hope Tapper doesn't follow in his footsteps.
Wilcox and Heath? Rinse repeat and keep your vets instead of giving someone a chance to prove they may actually be better. shame on this team if they are surprised we can't stop teams from getting wide open receivers in crunch time. We did nothing to improve our secondary this offseason. Combine that with what looks like a not too god pass rush and we better score a lot of points.
