Cali remember when we used to fight with Packer fans about Cutler all the frigging time. Now we fight each other. There are no winners in a Cutler fight. No one is changing their view. Lets all agree to disagree and smoke a pack together as Bear fans.

What are we smoking? Maybe I'll join you.

The difference is I think we are having a saner argument. The Packer trolls used to all say we thought Cutler was elite, which not even the most Jay-horny Bear fan was actually saying. It was annoying. He isn't elite, and he isn't terrible. We are arguing now over what I would say are much more legitimate issues in between those extremes. Even Joey with his overenthusiasm isn't as bad as some of those dolts were.

AI... 350+ yards, a game tying drive with 21 seconds left....and you're still not happy? They score 34 points and lose and you still find things to blame Cutler on? You say they should score 40? Could your standards be just a little skewed?
You go on to say that Rivers, Stafford and Hoyer?? are the new definition of franchise QB...but they throw picks, have losing records and have jerkface on the sideline too. And are 2 & 1 win teams too. Why do they get to be called Franchise QB's but Cutler needs to be replaced? You are such a hypocritical wack job. Your posts are all over the place.

I am just asking why does he get a pass on not getting the team to the end zone with a short field? A TD instead of a FG either of the three other opportunities and the game is over with no need for a game tying drive with a pass interference penalty.

We are both skewed, you cannot see his mistakes. All I said is one of those is a TD not a field goal and the game was over.

True.... turn one of those FG's into TD's and win. It's also true that if the defense forced one more punt the game would be over too.
I can see the argument to blame Jay, when he threw multiple picks/fumbles in the past. I can almost understand the frustration of his contract and "elite money" for not elite production. (though that's already changed in one season) What I can't understand is the need to blame him when he does well...And puts up 350+yards and scores 34 points. There are half a dozen things you can blame that loss on, Jay really isn't one of them.

I assume its for the same reason that you give him sole credit for all those yards and 34 points. He was not even the best quarterback on the field sunday if you are digging up stats.

A. Were gonna smoke a pack with Jay.
B. A sane Cutler argument????? I'm a fat skinny, old, big little kid but I don't think what you are saying is possible.

Fact is right....... and if not for Jay, we also could've won yesterday too.

You can look at the missed pass to Forte as no big deal, but in reality it was.... fact.

You have got to be kidding me... are you serious? Jimmy Clausen going to get them into FG range with 21 seconds left?
Hey everyone Wood told a joke today... It's in bold above... So funny.

Sooooo what, you deflecting the post f the missed pass to Forte as me saying Clausen should have been the starter?

You are comical.
But if you think that missed pass was no big whoop, stick to watching tennis ten.

Football is not your sport..... That missed pass was a huge deal.

There is a missed throw in every game, by every fucking QB who has ever played. Would it have been awesome? Sure. Did it cost us the game? Completely absurd.

Everyone wants to say how much the D has improved, and I believe they have (which really isn't saying much, considering) but they are still making at least one player a week look All-Worldly.

Allowing Stafford to go for over 400 and 4 TDs is insane, particularly this year. Allowing CJ to go for 166 on 6 receptions is insane. It's not 2010!? Those two haven't done jack-shit all year til they go up against us.

This D has a long way to go. Yes the Redzone Offense was shit, but I am of the mindset, that if you put up 34 points against an 0-5 team, you should win.

The loss to Detroit is on the D and on the Coaching. Period.

Here's my issue with Cutler. It's rarely his fault, but he rarely picks the team up and carries it on his back. I am also getting worried about him zeroing in on Jeffery every passing play. He started doing that at Detroit and he will probably continue to. He's been all right this year other than that. What I've noticed about cutler is he is unpredictable. He can go out and throw for 5 TDs, or he can throw 5 picks and anywhere in between. He's all right for now, but if we field a contending team in the next few years I am going to want a better and more consistent QB.

What? He took them down the field in 17 seconds for a field goal. That was one hell of a drive. Didn't he also have a game winning drive at the end of another game this year? While yea, he's no Tom Brady, this hasn't been all bad. I will agree this loss, to me, was more on the Defense and all the injuries and well, the ref's (but hey Detroit finally got a ref win after so many ref losses).

How about looking at the body of work from this last game. Should Cutler be better in the red zone? Sure...but was that really the problem??? The defense CANT get stops. 9.6 yards per pass is what they allowed the last game. 50% third down conversion rate. Forte had 24 carries at 2.9 ypc.

Yeah, I know some of the 34 points were courtesy of gaffes from the Lions, but the 37 allowed by the defense is too many. Look at how much of the field the Lions covered on their scoring drives. It's alarming, IMO. Thats how they lost.

Yeah, I mean, I'm not exactly Jay Cutlers biggest fan ever, but I don't see how you hang this one on him. All in all he played a good game, and led a lot of good drives, while minimizing his errors. That's really all you can ask for.

We only needed a game winning drive save in KC because Cutler (and the rest of the offense) sucked in that game. It's great that he succeeded in Drive #12. That drive never happens in an ordinary game where the opponent offense doesn't melt down. It''s Cutler's fault we were even in that situation. Stop lavishing praise unless you can't see what was wrong. He blew a lot of open receivers in that game.

You post that without even mentioning that Cutler had no Royal and Jeffery in that game. WOW. After that game, Cutler received a lot of praise from the media for making the young receivers around him better. It was pretty amazing what he did that game, with very little to work with. Maybe you missed those 2 PERFECT TD passes. After the game, Gase said that he never even saw Peyton Manning make a throw like Cutler's first TD pass. It's amazing to me that a QB can come through in the clutch like Cutler did that day, and you're actually negative about his play. But I know it's hard to change minds about Cutler.

When you watch quarterbacks. What triggers your decision about whether they are good or not?
