I just am not seeing the fit for Chapman.

Excellent defender, average hitter. Would block Schmitt. $150M/6 is too much.

I'd save that cash for Ohtani and Yamamoto.

Giants signed Austin Stater to a 1-year, 4M contract, buying him out of his final Arb season. MLBTR projected him at about 3.6M through Arb.
