I have to say that right now, Lenoys Martin is my favorite Ranger.

The dude is just flat out fun to watch. Makes great plays in the outfield, has a cannon arm, and is a terror on the bases.

Really a pleasant surprise the way he has stepped up his game this year.

I'm loving watching the Rangers right now with the way they are utilizing their team speed. The sit back and wait for the 3-run bomb game is boring to watch. When our table setters get on base now, its exciting. Hopefully they can keep it up and be "that F-in team" going into the playoffs.

If they did a top 3 most important Rangers I'd have Belts, Elvis, and Darvish right there.

Beltre.

Most entertaining....AJ
I cracked up pretty hard on Sunday when Beltre took off into left field. I shoulda been mad at him getting thrown out in a close game, but it was so damn funny I couldn't be mad at the man.

That indeed was a hoot. The funniest part was the Astros 3B followed him:laugh3:

Adrian Beltre. When the game is on the line, I hope and pray he is at the plate. He's a god to the young players. He is THE MAN in the clubhouse.

A very close second is Yu Darvish. What we are seeing right now is only the tip of the iceberg. He's only going to get better--if you can imagine that. The Rangers have never even sniffed at getting a pitcher like him. Ever. If the front office is smart, he will be a Ranger for a long time.

Soto has to be the unsung Hero, the biggest Momentum swing , he saved this season with his 3 run Walkoff homer, without that Emotional charge of Energy, this team would still be floundering, fading.

1. Smiling Belters Alpha male in dugout & clubhouse, 2. Darvish Zen Buddha, missing no hitters doesn't phase him, then close tie between Cuban Missile Martin, Smiling Elvis, Kid Dutch & Kid Profar. Saw article about how youth has re-energized our clubhouse. Keeping it light & fun makes it a Game & helps us find a winning Spirit, no mealy mouthing.

My favorite is Colby Lewis for a few reasons. One, he lived just a few houses down from me up until last year when he moved. Michael Young originally lived there, then he moved to Highland Park and rented the house to Marlon Byrd. Then when Byrd left, Colby moved in and lived there for a few years. The few times I saw him out and about in the neighborhood, he was always really friendly. Two, Colby is a big family man, and three, he's an absolute warrior in the playoffs. Plus his whole career has been an example of perseverance.

A close second though is Beltre. How can you NOT love him?

Agreed Soto has been like invisible glue to this team helping Darvish & Perez find their groove & a sweet swing it is.
