Hmmmm, hitting or pitching????

I have the better lineup he has the better rotation.

I have IMO the better bullpen and I think my bench is much better, my bench is set up for defense and pinch running, i'm never going to sit someone in my lineup so why pick hitters for the bench.

I have to go with me based on these things.

Nos.

500's pitching is solid, but Nos has enough pop in his lineup to overcome that.

I think 500 is right hand dominate, but nos has bats combat that. His first can hit against either hand. Nos wins it

Nos has the best 1-5 in the lineup.... and did a good job getting a decent rotation with NO wc...
500 has the better rotation by a significant margin, and his BP is slightly better...
500 has the better bench IMO

basically this is offense vs pitching... But because I think 500 did a better job with the current players I will pick his team to win... Joey votto is probably the most under-rated hitter in baseball...

Jon Lester and Sonny Gray have to face Walter Johnson and Christy Mathewson twice each in a seven game series.

This forces me to go 500. Even though I hated he used a WC on Jeter.

Kemp is in againt Keuchel and Lester. I disagree with Nos about the bench. This is not an all time draft there are players that can be pinch hit for in platoons. I think my lineup is underrated with Votto and Longoria specifically underrated. Look at Votto's career stat line I never realized how good it was until I saw it. I like that I have guys with a nice speed and power combo like Braun, Heyward, Kemp even Martin is fast for a catcher. As for bullpen the bottom for your own might be better but my top 2 definitely are. I will take me in 7.

It was either Jeter or a scrub current player

You make it sound like Johnson and Christy are simply unhittable. They have to go agasint my lineup 4 times in 7 games too ya know. I dont mind you voting for 500 but he has Mantle and a bunch of good players. I love that we all have different opinions on this stuff but hitting wins, I will always say that...

Also to 500 doesnt matter what type of draft it is, my lineup is set I dont need bench bats I need PR's and late inning defensive replacements. Maybe that does work with your lineup though so I understand your view.

I should have expanded more on my first comment.

If your lineup isn't the Top one, it can't be lower than three, imo. And I like that you had speed off the bench, for no real reason other than speed off the bench. Like you said, you didn't need the additional bats.

But there is a wide gap at the top of the rotations imo. I'm a huge fan of Sonny Gray, don't get me wrong. And contrary to popular belief, he's a better pitcher on the road than he is in that monument to foul territory that is OdotCo. (Splits surprised me.). But games 1,2,6,7 are at a major disadvantage to you, imo.

And I don't like Cobb at leadoff.

McCann and Crawford could be PH for with strong righties
