I'm being persecuted here for basically having these same beliefs.

You're being persecuted because you come off as an asshole. There are ways of saying things, and ways to get your points across. Going around and telling everyone their opinion doesn't matter because they don't subscribe to your thinking, insulting people and being generally dismissive (based on pure conjecture) of any arguments other than your own is why you are being "persecuted", as you put it. I honestly feel like I am talking to a child when I read and respond to your BS. I don't agree with your ideas, and I have provided my reasoning for not agreeing -- you're the one getting all butt hurt because no one agrees with you. Grow up, and develop thick skin -- it will serve you well in life.

Honestly Jar this is my opinion, either we go all in or we build on what we have an the future, which means no Hardy either. This means draft for the D and look for a QB in draft this year or next, this is fine by me. What I don't want is half ass stuff, if we sign Hardy we are committing to the now in my opinion, because we know the risk involved with that signing; and if this is the case we need to fully commit to the now if we are going to do that. What better way to commit to the now then adding AP? This is all I'm saying, which ever way you do, just make sure you do it completely, no half assing about it.

If they were going all in, signing Murray at $8 million per would have been a no brainer to me

I think Hardy could be a long term signing. If we brought him in and he excelled I don't think we'd let him leave.

Nets, I don't necessarily see Hardy as an all in move. The guy is in his mid twenties and if he were to sign with Dallas and keep his head on straight, could possibly be in Dallas for a while. If Dallas signs him and he plays well for us -- GREAT, let's keep him around. If Dallas signs him and he screws up again -- he gets suspended/expelled from the league, no big deal, Dallas will be off the hook for his salary.

Greg Hardy is a lottery ticket. Not a sign of Jerry pushing all the chips to the middle. JMHO...
