Remember when the Saints tried to claim that title?

Heck everyone wants to claim that title, if memory serves well it wasn't the Cowboys to originally coin that phrase, they just hopped on it.

I've often heard it called big brother envy.

That and just the whole city of Houston has this inferiority complex when it comes to Dallas.

I don;t live in either city so I don't have this problem.

And I grew up with Roger Staubach as my first ever sports hero so I don't have Cowboy hate or Dallas envy.

I just detest Jerry Jones and everything he stands for is the only reason I switched allegiance.

In a nut she'll NFL Films thought of the name as a marketing idea, they first went to Pittsburgh, but Rooney said "No we are Pittsburgh's team". NFL Films then went to Dallas, Schram said yes because Dallas was still a young team and this would get their name out. Landry was against it because he thought it would put targets on their backs.

Nope, there are way worse than that, at least the in state gives life to the rivalry. I know the Texans are new but many of their fans were Oiler fans, do that gives it some meaning my book. I know the rivalry means more to Texans fans, but Dallas fans don't want to lose to Houston either. Give it a few more years especially if Houston somehow pulls out a SB win, then the Texan fans will really be chirping.

Jets fans direct their hate to the Pats and Dolphins and the Giants of course have the Cowboys, Redskins and Eagles.

A Cowboy-Steelers rivalry makes sense though. They have met in the Super Bowl three times. The most in Super Bowl history.

At least those two teams have played in games that kinda meant something.

YES was something all right, but we had Texan fan pumping his chest after a preseason Houston of Dallas win. I'm sure others know exactly who I'm talking about, I have a hard time remembering names.
