They were claiming Saban was unhappy and about to leave Alabama right before last season.

The way I see things is - Fox is trying to compete desperately with ESPN so they are trying to appease fan bases of bigger markets and as a result they end up saying stupid shit.

Which is on top of the stupid shit they all say automatically.

Eventually Saban will retire, or Alabama will decline and they'll forever talk about how they called it.

Saban has shattered every expectation I had for him as a coach. It's just quite amazing the way he continues. That anyone else could come in and do better or even near as well just doesn't really seem possible or probable.

Just getting 1 national championship is a big deal. Getting that many in a such a short span while basically always have a great team year after year it's mind blowing. People don't seem to realize how hard it is to maintain success.
