Cowboys vs. Eagles. Who you got?

Romo may not play, and its looking very iffy. With that said, Foles has never had the pressure of a win or go home game. Who knows how he will react. The Cowboys shut him down the first time, the problem is, the Cowboy defense has a lot more injuries this time around. We also know that division games can always go either way.

He's not looking iffy… he is out. And lets not kid ourselves we know what to expect out of this game… we have seen it the last 2 seasons with our starter at the helm. As nice as it would be to make the playoffs again finally… it sure seems like a pipe dream at this point. Honestly I sort of prefer we lose… we are not going to advance far with this defense and our backup. We would get a better draft pick and maybe finally get a coach that will hold players more accountable.

I was thinking Philly in a close one, with Romo choking on a key play to give the game away. With Romo out, Philly by 2 TD's at least.

Didn't the Cowboys knock Foles out of the last game?

With Orton probably playing and Sean Lee still out, the Eagles should win this game.

However, I'm taking Dallas money line for a 3 stack. And when I win, I'm getting new power poles for the Ranger.

Eagles are going to win whether Romo plays or not.

Defense may play well early but will fold up like a cheap accordion in 2nd half.

If Tony can play, it will be a close game most of the way. If he can't it will be ugly.

With Romo out it's not a toss up IMO, changed from the eagles being serious favorites with Romo in.

I never hope they lose period, and even if we get a higher draft pick, have you forgotten who's drafting the players? As for a better coach, Jerry said this morning that Garrett isn't going anywhere and he thinks his future with the team is bright.

Like it matters! I've watched this team morph into a caricature of a real football team since Jimmy left! Jerry squeezed out one more Superbowl before falling into winning obscurity! The team is talked about all year round, but little "good" about the organization! From the top down, they've been a colossal joke paying players millions of dollars to fail time and time again! I think it was Bob Ryan on PTI or ATH stating that The Cowboys shouldn't even be mentioned until Thanksgiving for obvious reasons! If they couldn't get over the hump with Parcells, when will they ever? Will they need Jer to pull an "Al Davis" to finally move on?

no sane person would take romo over foles right now. and that's especially true with romo getting banged up. your comment and reasoning on it is just so.. i'm not even going to counter.

i'm also tired of hearing cowboys fans lump their defense in with the eagles. 'both can get lit up.' the cowboys basically get torn apart every week. the eagles have improved since day 1 (minus the one game against minnesota.) that's the only game in the last 11 they've given up more than 21 points. the cowboys have given up 21 or more IN THEIR LAST 8 GAMES AND COUNTING.

and yes, overall skill. the eagles are 1st in rushing, 9th in passing, 12th against the run, 16th in points allowed. dallas just lurks down in the basement for mostly everything. the eagles are better offensively and defensively. by how much isn't the question.

the cowboys saw the absolute worst the eagles had to offer when they met earlier. if you can't understand the concept that it's a bad thing for them coming into their meeting this time.. you know, figure it out. it's not tough.

the eagles are on the rise. a young QB, a new exciting coach, everyone is having fun. the cowboys have non stop high school drama, coaches most likely on the way out, a veteran QB that's called a choker who can't perform late in the year.

Well that's just the thing, they were all but there with Bill but Jerry made sure he was gone once they were in a position to win. But rather than have a real HC leading the team he assembled Jerry made sure to replace him with a yes man so that if the Cowboys won it would be all Jerry!

If the Cowboys want to win Murray needs to be touching the ball 25 times. The o line has played well all year and Murray is a top 10 back when healthy (which he is). Keep feeding him the ball and limit the Eagles offensive chances. Let Orton manage the game with high percentage passes, Witten and Miles should get some extra looks.

Great points… your are right with Jerry behind the wheel a middle draft position isn't going to change much and man thats disappointing he said that. It would't be the first time he said someone is safe though then fired them. Personally, I still think he is gone if they don't make the playoffs but that being said Jerry always looks for some kind of excuse not to change anything and losing Romo could be this years.

So, in this case I actually do hope we pull and upset but honestly, I don't expect one.

So for the 3rd year in a row the last Cowboys regular season game will decide who takes the NFCE crown. They've lost the previous two to the Giants (who'd go on to win the SB) and the 'Skins, who'd go on to lose to Seattle at home.

Both teams are coming off wins. The 'Boys pulling out a miracle against the Skins and the Eagles curb stomping the Bears.

The game is in Dallas this weekend and will be on Sunday night.

Who wins?

If Romo was playing, I'd take the Boys but with Kitna off the couch, I don't think so....Gotta go with the birds.
