Cowboys vs. Eagles. Who you got?

So for the 3rd year in a row the last Cowboys regular season game will decide who takes the NFCE crown. They've lost the previous two to the Giants (who'd go on to win the SB) and the 'Skins, who'd go on to lose to Seattle at home.

Both teams are coming off wins. The 'Boys pulling out a miracle against the Skins and the Eagles curb stomping the Bears.

The game is in Dallas this weekend and will be on Sunday night.

Who wins?

Depends on which Eagles team shows up. The one that curb stomped the Bears, or the one that got curb stomped by the Vikings. I am a Cowboy fan so I will be pulling for my favorite team to win, but I am also a realist and know that defense is HORIBLE.

Well you still have the shot of the Eagles defense that plays two different games, the curb stompin unit you saw last night or the unit that made Cassel look like a frickn pro bowl QB last week...

Then again it comes down to Romo, which one will show up....

The Eagles played lights out last night, but one week earlier they looked like they were playing with the lights out. I do believe the Eagles will win, but you just never know.

the eagles defense got lit up big time in minny, but they still scored 30. they also gave the vikings great field position most of the game.

the first meeting between the cowboys and eagles was probably the worst thing that could happen for dallas. the chances of holding them down again are as close to zero as you can get. the eagles are 6-1 in their last 7 and are averaging 34.5 points a game.

with romo gimpy, their choking nature and just the overall skill of the teams.. i'd pick the eagles. i think the cowboys hang in tough for the first half, but quickly fall behind by 2 possessions in the 3rd. no miracle comeback this week.

no sane person would take romo over foles right now. and that's especially true with romo getting banged up. your comment and reasoning on it is just so.. i'm not even going to counter.

i'm also tired of hearing cowboys fans lump their defense in with the eagles. 'both can get lit up.' the cowboys basically get torn apart every week. the eagles have improved since day 1 (minus the one game against minnesota.) that's the only game in the last 11 they've given up more than 21 points. the cowboys have given up 21 or more IN THEIR LAST 8 GAMES AND COUNTING.

and yes, overall skill. the eagles are 1st in rushing, 9th in passing, 12th against the run, 16th in points allowed. dallas just lurks down in the basement for mostly everything. the eagles are better offensively and defensively. by how much isn't the question.

the cowboys saw the absolute worst the eagles had to offer when they met earlier. if you can't understand the concept that it's a bad thing for them coming into their meeting this time.. you know, figure it out. it's not tough.

the eagles are on the rise. a young QB, a new exciting coach, everyone is having fun. the cowboys have non stop high school drama, coaches most likely on the way out, a veteran QB that's called a choker who can't perform late in the year.

Romo may not play, and its looking very iffy. With that said, Foles has never had the pressure of a win or go home game. Who knows how he will react. The Cowboys shut him down the first time, the problem is, the Cowboy defense has a lot more injuries this time around. We also know that division games can always go either way.

Something tells me that if Romo is out, NBC probably wishes they could cover the GB vs CHI game instead. PHI should win easily.
