Cowboys @ Bengals game thread

The Cowboys either pull a Chiefs or are too grief stricken to put up much of a fight. I honestly don't know what they'll do. This game is obviously a loss under normal circumstances, though.

That's the thing about the Cowboys though.... Even without the tragedy, you still never know how they'll play. They could come in and beat us by 3 touchdowns, or they could turn the ball over 8 times and lose.

I still see us losing. Hope I'm wrong. To me the difference in opponents played overrides any statistical advantage the Bengals have.

How is a home game v. a 6-6 team that had all they could handle from the Nick Foles led Eagles and the Browns an 'obvious loss under normal circumstances'? I guess the last 4 games were all obvious losses as well....exept they weren't.

Cowboys have a ton of talent at the skill positions. It will all come down to the line of scrimmage. That is where the Bengals have the clear adv. on both sides of the ball.

I just feel the Cowboys are the team that could beat the Falcons one week, but lose to the Jaguars the next. I've gotten far too excited over nothing the last couple seasons, I'll be optimistic after four months of good football, not four weeks.

Either way, I don't like our odds even if we win and it comes down to a showdown with Pitt. Here's to hoping I'm wrong.

As Bengals fans we're trained to temper our enthusiasm. I don't like the matchups with Bryant and Witten, but I think the Bengals have a better team. You're right though, the Cowboys can hang a ton of points on you. Hopefully its cold and wet today. That should play to the Bengals advantage. Both teams need the game. Should be a good one. if the game is a blowout I would think the bengals would be on the losing end.

I agree that the Bengals are the better overall team. For both teams though, you just never know which team is gonna show up. Should be an interesting game.
