I guess it depends on where Shanahan and Snyder feel the team is as a whole. If Kaepernick goes down, we are screwed. I guess I just value a good backup.

It is where the team is. We have a bunch more holes than you guys do. While a backup QB is valuable, with all the other holes we have, it is more of a luxury to us than it is to you. It just depends on what we can get for him in the offseason. If we don't get our OL fixed, if RG3 were to go down, Cousins really wouldn't have a chance. RG3 masks a lot of the weaknesses of our OL that Kirk just couldn't do.

No big deal - it is called message board speculation & occurs numerous times every day all over the place. We can pretty much count on the fact that Cousins will be in DC through the season. After that - who knows....

Well 2 int's didn't help Cousins trade value plus RG3 getting banged up.

No it didn't. Having said that, I actually thought, with the exception of his one bad throw that resulted in a pic six, he looked pretty good. He was decisive and his throws had some zip on them. The second INT wasn't his fault. Reed just flat out misplayed it and dropped the ball.

It is extremely difficult to come into the game in that situation. You're cold, you're way down so the D knows exactly what you are going to do and your OL couldn't block anyone.
