That was so a fumble. I want the big 12 office to say that.
My suggestion is when a player is about to tackle another player, they need to spin completely around at the last second and then try to make the tackle with their back facing the player about to be tackled. That should prevent helmet to helmet contact.
By all means, please send your suggestion to Carl....
LOL
The fact is, Carl and Bo will not change their teachings, and I suspect if you watched 100 games, you would see contact such as what has happened in our game the last two weeks, in 30 to 40 of them. When you have two players going full speed or making decisions to cut one way or the other or to duck, spin, slide or move to avoid contact, this shit is just going to happen.
This about sums it up. You can't tackle with your feet as it's a tripping penalty. To make this fair and unbiased across the board, the NCAA would have to instill a rule that says "ANY helmet to helmet contact is a penalty". This would leave players with only being able to arm tackle ala Cosgrove defenses..
We would have to get used to scores like 176 - 157.
I can't imagine that the beating we handed ed, ham with **** on it s team, Washington has anything to do with him adding his -2 cents worth every chance he get's. Someone just needs to waterboy his ass from a 50yd sprint, with or without a helmet

I wish I had some clue as to what you are saying here but sadly I have no clue.
Im talking about me getting a full speed running start and ramming my head into his chest while I make the "Eeeuuurrrggghhh!" waterboy sound
Any other word on the Big 12 review?
Last I heard they were seriously reviewing!
This crap just makes me laugh.
The original substance of the rule was to penalize players/teams for (TARGETING) a player with a malicious intent. Not to penalize for incidental contact.
Bo said today he doesn't think courtney will be suspended... He said that if there was a issue- that they would've heard something by now....
