I count a total of 80 players - after the attrition after last season. That's 40 scholarship players on offense, 39 scholarship players on defense and 1 on Special Teams (Velasquez).
This leaves 5 scholarships available for next season during the 2019 February signing day. However I believe that two of those scholarships will go to current walk-ons - namely TE Garrett Collingham and LB Benton Wickersham.
Plus the Boise State coaches are on record as saying that they WILL sign a Kicker to a scholarship in February.
If all of that is correct then that leaves only 2 scholarships left to give out.
