I still like Wimbush’s upside compared to Book. But it seems like Boykin is the only receiving threat we have (Maybe Claypool), not counting tight ends (I think Alize Mack will have his breakout year).

Sure the upside on Wimbush is huge but he's so far been closer to his floor than ceiling and his floor is probably lower than Books.

Last year was his first as a starter. Let’s see how he responds for his second. I still think Jurkovec will be the better long term replacement versus Book.

I didn’t get to see the spring game because of work.

Hard to judge these things but I saw the highlights and it seems like some of Wimbush’s worst passes came when he was pressured and would have been sacked if it were full go. So he just forced the ball.

I’ll chalk it up to that, but he can’t do that under pressure in real games.

But they also didn’t let him run during the spring game. His mobility is one of his greatest assets. If someone got within a yard or two of him, he was called down. I have no doubt that many of those would have been turned into significant gains in a real game.

I think they played 5 ranked teams (I think MSU was ranked when they played them) last year. And went 1-4 against them. I don’t think harbaugh is a great coach (I don’t think Kelly is either) but I think our defense will be better than theirs. Home field will help, but I think we win by 10 points.

Yeah tickets are extremely hard to come by for a nice price at this point. I've realized I'm just gonna be at my T.V. watching it.
