Could #15 Notre Dame (4-1) Still make it to the Playoff?

Here is the help we need this week.

Mich beats Northwestern(toss up here, Mich wins they jump us)
GT beats Clemson(even if they don't no big deal).
Texas beats Oklahoma(This would be Big for ND.) I don't think it happens.
south carolina beats LSU(upset alert here)
Arkansas beats Bama(No chance here)
Missouri beats Florida(another upset Alert)
Miami beats FSU(another upset Alert)
cal beats Utah(has a chance, best QB in college football)

These are the games that can help. Lets hope 2-3 upsets happen.

Clemson plays FSU
LSU still has to face Bama, Florida, Ole Miss, & A&M
Bama and Ole Miss still has to face A&M and LSU
Florida has to face LSU and FSU

So out of the 14 teams ranked ahead of us, only Utah and Northwestern doesn't have to face one of the other teams ranked in the top 14.

No need to worry about most of those teams because they'll give each other losses. Just worry about the Irish

Perfect example is this Texas game. If Oklahoma loses to Texas there is no shot for Oklahoma being ahead of us. So who they lose to matters.

It does matter and I agree that for fans knowing which games to watch isn't a big deal but the thing that is on my mind is Notre Dame winning out. Many of these teams will have 2 losses or at least 1.

Yup I don't think the selection committee will rank them #1 if they struggle like this all year. They may start out as the top team but won't end that way.

Not in the top 8. At least not that first week. Every team we've beaten that have been beaten by other top ranked teams have beaten them worse.

Clemson was cruising with Ga. Tech by halftime. TCU obliterated Texas last week. The almighty Bowling Green even put up more points than we did against UMass.

Watch out for that Harbaugh kid... err I mean Coach. 3 straight shutouts? Not the greatest of teams in the world, but 3 shutouts in a row doesn't happen regularly. What the hell is in their Gatorade? How soon do you expect them back on the schedule now?
